Nickel City Baseball is offering weekly clinics designed for high functioning autism and / or aspergers. These hour-long, weekly clinics are designed to give children an exposure to baseball skills while encouraging positive social interaction.

At Nickel City Baseball's skills training camsp and clinics, players are grouped by age and experience. Camps begin with a detailed warm-up and stretching session. Next to the day's chalk talk covering topics such as bunt defenses, double cuts and trailers, backing up the proper bases, and the plays that will help you think like a pro. After that, off to the field to develop the skills covered.
Afternoon sessions focus on station work and the specific hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running drills. Our instructors will concentrate on your strengths and weaknesses to improve areas like bat speed and control, quick and soft hands, balance point, and lead offs.
